Wordless Wednesday: Bald Eagle!

Every year in the Spring, the eagles show up around our property. They seem to love this tree, with the top broken off. We live sort of near a large river. So I think they rest here between hunting jaunts at the river. This one looks so majestic!

He looks so beautiful and majestic.
I browsed your blog and bit and really enjoyed it. I hope you don't mind if I return. The bee thing...my first husband was a 5th generation beekeeper. Me? I have an anaphylactic reaction to bee stings. Ouch!
Happy WW, mine's up too.

The Eagles and other raptors winter down in our area. They are here between October and May. Love 'em. MB

Beautiful. I'd love to see one that close. I used to see them flying sometimes where I lived a few years back. They are exquisite in flight.

That is so cool that you get eagles in your trees. The biggest we get is an osprey and he's puny next to that beauty!

Wow! A lot of people visited today! I've missed a couple of visits so I had to read back through a couple of posts. I like your eagle picture. I shot a photo of an eagle when I lived in Panama City,. We have them here too! It was in a piney wooded area right on the county line between Bay County and Walton County (Panama City Beach and Destin FL) There's a wide variety of wildlife along the Gulf Coast - very cool!

I can't believe you had snow this week! Good grief! And we hit 80 degrees today! LOL!

I have NEVER seen a bee observatory like that! That is too cool! Will they remember how to get back to it? All that will stick out will be that small clear tube, right? Do you think it would be disturbing to their daily routine to be able to be seen like that? To have people so close on them like that? I'll be curious to see how that goes. It's very interesting though.

I hope your son is feeling better - I had a tough weekend as well and still coughing my head off but no longer running the fever.

Poor Callie. My sister's golden suffers seizures as well. In the beginning the medicine did make her groggy/drowsy as well, but they eventually got it adjusted and she does alright on it now. Hopefully your Callie will too.

So you're likin' the Live Writer, eh?! :) It's FUN isn't it!! I predict we'll be seeing more and more bloggers using it! It's too cool!

I think I'm caught up with ya now so I'll say nite nite!! See you again soon!

Hugs,
Lynn
